Breaking up is never easy. For whatever reason it is, both people get hurt. Being the one doing it is always awkward. First you’re not sure what to say, then you start feeling guilty, but then when you finally do say it, it comes out all easy and not always smooth….and you want to make sure the other person understands you even if you’re stuttering and freaking out. In the end, it’s finally over, you guys hug or walk in opposite directions and sometimes you feel horrible and sometimes you feel relieved. Either way….you feel like something might be missing now and it can be good or bad.

I broke up with someone today. It was awkward trying to get my feelings out and my own words out. It was even kinda wierd because his friends thought we were still together. But then it was over….and it wasn’t helping that he was smirking while i babbled in long sentences, like he knew i didn’t do this often and he was happy that i was hurting more than him.

But anyways. It’s all over now. You guys probably know how it feels to be single again. Honestly i kinda like it. I don’t have to worry so much or watch what i say. I can hug and talk and cuddle with anyone i like. Hopefully everything plays out like it’s supposed to.

People get arrested. In a way, it’s like the whole world is made up of kids, and the police are the adults who punish the kids that don’t stay in line.

Being emotionally drained is never a good thing. In fact, it’s horrible. I came home last night at around 6, and went to sleep around 7 because i was THAT tired. Being in shock is never good either…or going crazy in class. Most people will assume you are on drugs if you keep on acting wierd. Getting a long cut on the arm is never a good thing, especially when something so shocking has just happened. I swear i had 5 people come up to me and ask me if i was okay. You see, they thought i was cutting myself. i know, actually cutting myself! they thought i was THAT crazy. It’s insane what people will think if you don’t act like yourself one day. You know, maybe some people just don’t want to act like themself. Maybe they were originally fakers before and the change you see in them is really them.

We all have different ways of dealing with issues…but guys, don’t intoxicate your body with shit just to ‘get away from the world’ or to ‘run away from the problem’. It’s kinda pathetic.

Scoring Satisfaction With Limited Waste

Girls: standing in high heels for about a couple hours is harsh if the shoes aren’t comfortable. Yeah? well try 17 hours in a long floor length dress, about 3 hours of sleep the night before, and not going home until the next day after a torturous wedding. People please! Do not torture your family and friends for your own satisfaction. I know i don’t have to really tell you this, because most of you guys should know better, but DUDE! learn please!

Black Friday Shopping: One of the best times of the year to shop shop shop with awesome prices and satisfaction. It’s the time of the year to get what you want and save a crap load of money. It’s also pretty dangerous. Apparently people have been trampled to DEATH. Guys, that’s insane. What’s also insane is camping out on Wednesday night to get first in line on friday to get the best deals. Crazy.

Thanksgiving: don’t be afraid to look like a fat ass on this holiday. You’re supposed to eat as much as possible on thursday, then go burn it all on black friday, then go back to your diet and prep again for the winter holidays. stay consistent and balanced and so will your diet.

Ninja Assassin: so apparently this is the big action movie that everyone’s talking about. I can’t help it, im going to go see it tomorrow. It looks kinda like another one of those, asian, ninja movies with tons of kung fu type moves and asian accents but hey, some of them are pretty good haha.

It’s the time to get back on your daily schedule again. It will be hard on the first day, even harder on the second and third and so on, but it’s good not to have so much vacation days.

Stay in there, winter holidays are almost here. Save your money for some christmas shopping, or maybe you guys already did all that on black friday.

Turkeys, Family and Golden Leaves

It’s Thanksgiving!

First off, i think the district should really cut the vacation days so that the students don’t have to go to school on the day before Thanksgiving. I mean, you know what? They should just reserve the whole week for thanksgiving. My parents were gracious enough to let me skip today.

Thanksgiving has always been one of those, HUGE family holidays everyone wants to celebrate. I have a pretty big family with over 30 uncles and aunts always flying in from all over. This year, things are going to be even more hectic because one of my uncles is having a wedding on Thanksgiving weekend! In my culture (mien) we like to do things big which means, over 600 guests will be at the wedding, but before that, i’ll have most of my family (about 100 members or so) coming in and out of my house at 5 in the morning to around 11 at night for the past month. All i can say is, i’m glad as hell that after this weekend, it’ll all be over. So what am i having for dinner tomorrow? For those who are vegetarians or vegans, you guys might not want to read this part. Well i’m going to be having about a dozen or so turkeys, 10 chickens, 4 pigs, 2 cows and whole bunch of people. It’s going to be hectic, it’s going to be crazy.

Friday will be the same thing, except 5 pigs, 3 cows and much more. Saturday? The wedding will take place on that day, and i’m going to be a bridesmaid. My week will be hectic, and i’m sure there will be more stories to tell before the weekends over.

Ohmygosh, today was my last WAS (Work Alternative to suspension)!!!

Anyways, who here is a twilight fan? Who here is an anti twilight fan?

I guess i’m pretty mutual at this point. Like, i read the book before it was even popular, and it’s a bit disturbing to see younger children (between the ages of 8-12) read the books. I mean, it’s about a vampire and a girl who fall in love, vampire novels are like, prone to sexuality and some heated moments. Like, the kids i see reading this shouldn’t even understand those scenes yet! I mean, i was pretty young when i read my first young adult book and i didn’t even understand half of it, but jeez parents, keep an eye on what your kids read. The Twilight series are not meant for elementary school students to read, they should still be reading Alex Rider and the Magic Treehouse. All i’m saying is, don’t let kids grow up so soon. They don’t have to worry about sex and all that stuff yet. In the last book of the twilight series, edward rips apart bella to get the baby out. Really?!?! yeah, and i still see 10 year olds reading it. I honestly wonder if they realize what they’re reading.

See the movies if your parents let you, but don’t read the book. Bella turns into a ho in Eclipse and then some really disgusting stuff happens in Breaking Dawn which i don’t feel comfortable saying.

If your a twilight fan, awesome. If your not, awesome. Team Edward? Team Jacob? honestly, we already know whats going to happen in the end, there’s no point in teams if you still want to believe in your heart that bella will go with Jacob.

Have a happy week, don’t do stupid stuff. Go see New Moon, stop hating on the movie. Honestly, just because everyone likes it doesn’t mean you have to hate it. It’s like the Harry Potter movies….except with bad acting.

Also, have an awesome Thanksgiving For those on diets, trash it. With big families like moi, it’s kinda hard to stay on a diet, especially during Thanksgiving. I’ll be collecting cans this weekend, wish me luck!

T.R.O.U.B.L.E.

I guess the title pretty much says it all.

I’ve never really gotten in trouble at school so far. It was bound to happen sometime, i just wasn’t sure when or how. I mean, before ‘the incident’ the closest i’ve gotten to getting in trouble was writing a dumb letter to my teacher expressing my anger with lots of profanity and lots of random facts about teenage depression.

I’m not going to give you dish. I’m not going to explain what happened or how i got in trouble and who i got in trouble with. All i can say is, i ended up with WAS’s for 4 days and sometime this week i have to go in for questioning.

WAS: Working Alternative to Suspension.

It’s pretty much like detention except instead of sitting in class and doing nothing, a whole bunch of us get into groups and pick up trash around the school. If we’re not picking up trash, we have to write essays. Well i have 4 days of that until monday. Honestly, today was my first day of picking up trash, and i had fun doing it. The supervisor pretty much got comfortable at a bench and let us wonder off armored with gloves and a trash bag. As long as we came back once in a while to dump our bags, it was all good. It’s funny, because the people in my group were hilarious, and most of them knew each other because they got WAS’s like twice a week.

So i guess, it was nice, having fun, cleaning up the school as a way of discipline. But guys, i don’t have to tell you not to do stupid stuff. People know whats right and wrong, we just simply choose the other for more apparent reasons.

Be wise about your decisions. Everything we do in life has consequences, and i’m still serving mine.

For those who are totally against drugs and alcohol, i guess you shouldn’t read this unless you want to comment and put up a fight that hardly exists as far as i can see except in that funny dog commercial.

Being someone who has smoked pot, or tried any kind of alcoholic beverage can instantly give you a ‘boost’ on the social life of a teenager. It’s that simple and it’s almost a fact. Honestly, if you guys are going to disagree and tell me that doing those things does not boost ones social life, i mean, feel free to believe what you believe, but i’m just saying, the things that are done are done. It’s almost like, the more dangerous things you do, the higher and more cooler you get. But then, if you’ve gotten caught doing it, or arrested, if it goes over that invisible limit of dangerous things, BOOM! you’re at the bottom and you don’t remember how you got there.

Highschool is harsh. You have to stay in between the boundaries, and if you’re out of it? Honestly….you’re not f***** but the all high school experience won’t be the thing you hope for. Now i’m not trying to make you believe that what im saying is the truth. I’m simply expressing my opinion on things. And i’ll be honest, i have tried those substances before, and honestly, it’s not good. People say you do it to run away from life, reality, family, watever. But instead of dealing with the issue you run away from it, and everytime you avoid it, things just get worse and worse.

If you have been living above the influence, you my friend, are great. If you haven’t? maybe it’s time to try and run the opposite way.

Naw man naw….

Were you guys ever forced to read a book, something that was just so dry and unbelievably boring that you fell asleep reading? Well i was forced to read the Odyssey and my goodness was it bland! It was something like eating a sugerless cookie. Baaaad.

So yesterday i baked like a big batch of brownies. Now i’m not much of a baker, like, i’m such a bad baker, like, i-burn-the-house-down-when-i-attemt-to-bake kind of bad. That’s pretty bad. You have any idea how pissed off my parents were…..jkjk but i almost did!

So i baked brownies and brought like a pound of it to school today. I had wrapped it in ceramic and tin foil and i was eating it during photography because i forgot my camera at home. I know i know, soooo stupid of me, like, who would go to photography class without a camera? ahaha, moi. So anyways i was eating it and all of a sudden, my friend was like “did you buy that?” and i was like, “uh no not really, i baked it at home.” and apparently when you say its homemade, people are just going to assume that there’s either alcohol or drug substances in it. See, i didn’t know that at the time, so i was really surprised when the guys told everyone and they started crowding around and making deals like “i’ll buy a piece of that for 5 dollars!” and just stuff like that. Fortunately, i felt nice that day and told them that i would just give it to them for free. Well, there was this big uproar of free ‘homemade’ brownies. Still i didn’t understand, and so i gave it to them….and eventually when they did realize that it was just a regular brownie? they weren’t too happy about that.

But honestly, that just showed how stupid and immature people could be. How much they crave rebellion is astounding to me. Like, stop running away from the issues and actually deal with it!

I guess when something drastic happens, or maybe it wasn’t drastic but heart wrenching and powerful, and the outcome has a chance of death mingled there with hope and life, it really makes you think. When you know that you can die, and always 1 out of 1 people will die, but when we know that we will and can die sooner than expected, or if we know that we have months to live, it’s a shocker. For the first couple of days it doesn’t really set in, but then we start thinking, and then reflecting, and we think of all the bad things we’ve done in life. All the times we might have been mean or selfish or rude and unforgivable. Our emotions begin to take a high notch of fever and the tears come loose, followed by depression and unexplainable shock. But after all that, you think of all the things we’ve enjoyed, and all the wonderful times we have experienced and we realize that we are not really satisfied. Our wrong doings will ALWAYS out weigh the right, and when we don’t have much time to make up for those things, we try and do as many things as possible in the time that we are given.

So don’t waste your time doing things that you know and i know that isn’t right. Get out there and LIVE. We never know when our last day may be.

Hey guys

So as you know i’m in a relationship with some impish guy. I don’t even know what impish means but it is degrading in a funny, cute, way. Honestly, i know you guys don’t want to hear about me and how suckish my life is because you have better things to worry about and read. So one day, i stumble upon this list. It’s hilarious and some of it is kinda true. So guys, read this list and think carefully, girls, analyze your boyfriends or crushes.

To Keep A Girl As Long As Possible:

DO NOT:

do not start a fight to impress the girls. Honestly guys, we don’t need to see how macho and manly you are. Although it’s thoughtful, it isn’t very attractive and it just throws the mood off.
do not be sexually suggestive until at least 2 months of dating!!! if the girl wants to start earlier, let her make the first move.
do not ask a friend to ask her out. Honestly, it’s pretty much shouting to us gals that you have no balls! (to be blunt)
do not tell her she’s being a bitch…even if she is. She’s probably already having a hard time, and if you can solve it, do that but if you can’t, break up with her. Simple without the B word taking place.
do not ask her out when she’s in a bad mood. Although you may think it’ll cheer her up. It wont.
do not go somewhere only where you want to go. If the place she wants to go isn’t your thing, just tell her and if she doesn’t understand (which she probably will) break up!
do not tell a girl something and not do it. It pisses everyone off that you promised. So don’t promise or say anything you don’t really mean.

DO:

do tell her that she’s beautiful, cute, pretty, ect. You have no idea how wonderful that is to a girl. We actually make an effort to look flawless in the morning.
do listen to watever she has to say, even if she’s bitching about something or is just plain depressing.
do cooperate when you are going to meet her parents. It’s only dinner, just be cool and relaxed, BS if you really have to.
do shave and shower often! please guys, no girl wants a dirty BF, that’s the worst, especially if you play sports.
do whisper in her ear. It’s very nice, but don’t do it if your sick, that’s just baaaddd. No one wants to listen to you breath through your stuffy nose.
do tell her that you had a dream about her. We know it’s not true but the aspect of dreams is romantic and we love it.
do support her and make her feel like the most important gal in the world.

so there you have it. Do’s and Don’ts.

it’s funny to just read it, it’s even better if you have a partner haha.
